“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands… The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb… and the crops of your ground” (Deuteronomy 28:1, 11)

Together we built a prosperous future for our children and a strong state guided by moral values. The public space is dominated by people who have lost their moral compass. Justice, love and care towards our neighbour can be provided only by the integrity of the public’s person character and cannot be obtained from a mere replacement of actors or political forces.

God has given us the moral guidance according to which we should built our lives: You shall have no other gods. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. You shall not kill. Honor your father and your mother. These conduct rules have been tested throughout the ages and have been designed for individual joy and common good.

My political activity is moored to this moral compass. I fought actively for promoting these values, both at national and European level. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted (based on the reports I prepared) a series of resolutions on: children’s right to grow near their parents (Bodnariu family); parents’ right to raise their children according to their religious convictions; Christians’ protection against intolerance and discrimination.

We have seen, in the recent years, an increasingly dreadful fight on the issue of moral values. Neoliberal and ultra-progressive policies will generate more attacks on our freedom of conscience, thought and action. We expect difficult fights on such issues as: abortion, gender identity, definition of family and child protection. I will stay faithfully anchored in the Christian democratic conservatory doctrine, continuing, thus, to fight with dedication for promoting moral values.
